They
gathered in the garden after the sun
went down
A cool breeze floated through the air
and touched the emerald ground
Seated on the petals of a morning glory
vine
They shared there stories of a magical
fairy time
Each one shared there memories and giggled
with delight
At the magical times they shared as
they learned of fairy flight
At times they stumbled, bruised their
knees or scraped an arm or two
And sometimes they would sit and cry
because flying was hard to do
Magical tricks were easy, they only
had to think
And each one had its own design, sometimes
you had to blink
Others called for a magical wand made
from a special tree
Sprinkled with fairy dust and waved
in the air with glee
The starlight sprinkled through the
leaves
The fairies yawned with tiredness
They'd been having so much fun
They hadn't realized the hour
