FAIRY MAGIC
The clouds sway mysteriously under a sky of silver blue
A fairy sits upon a rock with her hands held out to you
Her hair is the color of golden wheat,
her eyes are cornflower blue
The stars are falling from the sky,
in a forest filled with dew
Fairy dust is glittering, like diamonds in the sun
The garland round her head, fresh from a meadow run
Her wings are soft as satin, her gown a dusty hue
She'll mesmerize you with her magic
and make your dreams come true
Tiny fairies surround her head in a halo of delight
Dancing to the music of the beautiful woodland sprite
Her voice evokes a memory,
of wonderful childhood delight
Of swinging from a treetop or lost in a dream at night
Sonnets have been written and love songs that were true
And when you see the woodland fairy,
you'll believe in magic too

FAIRY DREAMS
Fairies from another world that no one else could see
They spread their wings and whirled about,
they preened with such finesse
Their wings were quite transparent, the color of violets
They landed on the table, they flitted through the air
They sat upon a crystal vase and smelled the flowers there
I wondered where they came from, I thought it was a dream
I watched in silent wonder at such an extraordinary scene
Such beauty I had never seen, such magical design
The fairies that were once a dream were now right here inside
They charmed me with their dances, they whispered in my ear
They sat upon my pillow and spread fairy dust in my hair
They giggled in the moonlight as they drifted in the air
Their wings would flutter softly and then they'd disappear
It seemed like only minutes, but all too soon I saw the dawn
Just as suddenly as they had come, they suddenly were gone
